December 14th will be forever etched in Australia’s history as the day terrorists brutally murdered innocent Australians basking in summer sunshine. We’ll always remember the horrific act.
We will also remember that it was the government’s inaction in addressing the radicalisation within our community that caused this.
Un-feted immigration from places with no rule of law, no democracy, no Judea-Christian values, and no industrial awards, has fostered a culture of hate, of antisemitism, and of radicalism in our communities.
And for the Federal government to brazenly and clumsily attempt to divert public attention to the non-issue of gun laws is appalling form in the highest order.
How can it be that disruptive marches through our cities chanting offensive slogans against Jews, our Sydney Opera House being held hostage by rabid gangs chanting ‘f*** the jews’, ‘shame Israel’, burning the Australian flag, all in support of the terrorist led attacks on Israel, be allowed to happen with no action, yet law abiding firearm owners are the first in the government’s sights?
The endorsement, tacit or otherwise, by our governments of the increase in hate and fear is a key factor in the eroding our national fabric.
The KAP Members of Parliament and I proudly marched in support of our flag in North Queensland and Brisbane. We were the only party in Queensland who attended. We were widely ostracised for attending by the Brisbane parties.
Ostracised for being proud of our country, meanwhile the Prime Minister makes an international announcement that he will recognise the state of Palestine, in response to the appalling marches of hate.
Ostracised for warning that uncontrolled immigration from countries who don’t share our values will end in disaster.
And here we are.
This is the national emergency. Hatred fuelled by those who refuse to embrace Australia and instead seek to continue their wars within our borders, must have no place on shore.
We see enclaves of immigrants in our large southern capital cities, where few in the family have ever really worked. They can live off the kindness of our taxpayer heart. These are the people vulnerable to hate preachers, radicalisation, and worse. Stuck in a big city, with no example of having a go, and no incentive to be Australians.
If those coming to our shores don’t want to appreciate our way of life, they can go somewhere else and enjoy the life they wish to live.
We must immediately tackle immigration, terror, and hate. Before it’s too late, and there’s no Australia left to save.
