KAP Federal Member for Kennedy, Bob Katter, addressed several thousand at the Brisbane March for Australia on the weekend, announcing he will force a vote in the House of Representatives that there should be no migration without assimilation.
The call comes after nearly a decade of the immigration floodgates being propped open by both the Liberal/National Party and the ALP.
Figures from the ABS reveal over 2.5 million migrants came into Australia over the last five years. 667,000 migrants came into Australia in 2023-2024, with another 395,000 in 2021-2022, 145,800 in 2020-2021 (covid lockdown), and 506,900 in 2019-2020, 537,800 in 2018-2019.
“The forces of evil are abroad. The immigration minister brought in 2000 Gazans without any reference to the people of Australia.
“In the next 12 years they will bring another eight million in and that will be one third of Australia. And in the next 10 years, they will be the majority. Our country won’t be our country!
“Now, if you want your country taken off you, good luck.. but not me.
“The vast bulk of those people coming to Australia are coming from countries with no democracy, no rule of law, no egalitarian traditions, no industrial awards and no Christianity – and I'm not talking about belief in God; I'm just saying Western civilisation is based on Christianity. You have a responsibility to look after your fellow man, and you have a responsibility to make the world a better place. Well, these people are not coming from countries like that.
“Australia is a great and generous nation, but if you want to be welcomed here you must leave your wars and prejudice aside. We have successive governments that under the auspices of ‘generosity and humanity’ have brought in people so war-torn and full of hate that they can’t assimilate or let go. These people are destroying the fabric of our society,” Mr Katter said.
“Please, it is simple, if you don’t want to be Australian then don’t come to Australia. There is Churchill's famous adage that those who do not understand and know history shall be doomed to once again suffer those lessons of history.
“That’s why we say “no migration without assimilation”.
“If you are a migrant and come to this country and two minutes later, you’re waving our national flag, than you are as just much of an Australian as I am,” Mr Katter said.
“The situation has come to a point for me personally. We are part of the Gumtrees movement. We want the floodgates closed and our first statement is “no migration without assimilation”.”
