BOB Katter, Federal Member for Kennedy has pleaded with the Federal Agriculture Minister to immediately intervene and permit the transit of 56,000 sheep that were due to be exported to the Middle East from West Australia last month, but were delayed due to a Covid outbreak on the ship. He says the issue of ‘cruelty due to heat extremes’ can be managed by a simple ‘hose watering’.
