The two major political parties in Queensland both enthusiastically support the hosting of the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane.
The (mainly Brisbane-based) media continues to back the Olympics.
There’s only one way to find out what Queenslanders really think about the state hosting the games: put it to a vote.
If the major parties genuinely believe the majority of Queenslanders want the games, they will have no trouble agreeing to a question being on the ballot paper for the 2024 State election this October.
